How filing a free injury claim works
GetInjuryQuote is a free advertising and claim-intake service operated by Record of Sale LLC. We are not a law firm and not a lawyer referral service. Here's what happens from start to finish.
1. Tell us what happened
Use the online claim form. It has six short steps covering your contact details, the incident, your injuries and treatment, insurance, and how you'd like to be contacted. You can upload photos or documents. Prefer to talk? Call the Super Intelligent Claim Line. It is answered by an automated, super intelligent assistant (not a person or a lawyer), and calls are recorded. You can ask for a callback from a person.
2. Participating law firms review it
With your consent, your claim is shared with participating law firm(s) licensed in the state where the injury happened. There's no cost to submit or for the initial review. Submitting does not create an attorney-client relationship.
3. You hear back and decide
If the attorney can help, they contact you using your preferred method to discuss your options. You're never obligated to hire anyone. If you do, the attorney explains fees, which are usually contingency-based, in writing first.
How we're paid
Participating law firms pay Record of Sale LLC a flat monthly advertising fee. The fee is the same no matter how many claims a firm receives, whether it takes a case, or how a case turns out. We never take a share of attorney fees or settlements, and we don't recommend or endorse any particular attorney.
What we don't do
- We don't give legal advice or tell you whether you have a case.
- We don't estimate what a claim is worth or promise any result.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Tips before you file
- Get medical care first. Your health comes before any claim.
- Take photos and keep receipts, reports and letters.
- Write down a timeline while it's fresh.
- Legal deadlines vary by state, so don't wait.
